Cindy and Pat could not go to the auction this last time around so Judy and I
agreed to go. I was 'in charge' of the bidding since I got there first :)
While I was registering, I saw this litter of cockers being put into the cages
in the trailers where they are held until they are auctions. It was love
at first site :) She looked so much like a black and white version of my
Quincy. What a group of sweeties. There was one female. I just could
not bear to see her sold into the mill cycle...and up the bidding number went,
and went and went until finally she was mine. That day we came home with
our little cocker girl, 3 toy poodles and our Havanese. Being a little
short on foster homes, I volunteered to keep 2 'just over the weekend'....those
2 days ended up to almost 2 weeks until I got the application for a wonderful
couple living in Chicago. I knew immediately after speaking to them just
once that they were going to be the perfect forever home for our little girl.
I'm so happy that I had the opportunity to finally foster and especially for
this beautiful little girl. Here are some pics of her time with us (note
by Lynne)
And now photos from her forever family
