Xena was rescued from the 'puppy auction' in February.  She had been shaved down, barely any hair, and nicked from the shaver.  She was so cold and scared and so very pregnant.  She rode from the auction to Cindy's home wrapped in Denise's (our webmaster's daughter) coat. She was so skinny but her belly so big.  Denise kept feeling the little guys moving around.  Within a week, the pups were born.  The first did not survive.  The second gave us a hard time, being breach but finally did make.  The third did not make his grand entrance until 4 hours later.

	Xena is being a good little mother and enjoying being able to also be a puppy herself and learning to play.

My new name is Lil Bit! and I am loving being in my new home!  Look how furry I am getting! and I love Maggie too!
