I'll try to make this short, but I just cannot say enough about Cody; he is just a little ball of fluff and fun!  (Yes, I kept his original name; it was coincidentally the name of my mom's first dog too.)  He LOVES our other dogs, Lily, Meadow and Autumn, and it seems like they can play forever and ever.  They love tug-of-war, and stealing one another's bones, but at the end of the day, you can find them all sound asleep at our feet in the living room. 

 

He's also pretty famous at the grooming salon too...women just love him, and from what his report cards read, he gets all A+'s for his good manners.

 

What's nice about little Cody is that I can take him anywhere and everywhere I go, and people love coming up to us!  He loves it because of all the attention; but it's also great because it gets the dialog going about this rare breed, and also about his sad history.  People can't believe that I adopted such a gorgeous little boy; and they wonder why this happens.  I encourage people to look up various websites (For example freedomrescue.org and petfinder.com) which educates on pet stores and puppy mills.  Even some of my sister's younger friends are interested in learning more.

 

I'll be sure to keep you posted as my little man keeps growing up!  Thank you for our little piece of Coton heaven.  He's the perfect fit for our family and we just love and adore him.
