"His name was Irwin when we adopted him, but Fred seems more appropriate. His adoption date was 4-14-2007 and he was born on 1-27-2007.

He is the love of our lives. There is nothing like waking up to his fuzzy face or watching him out run all the other dogs in the neighborhood. Fred is an athlete to everyone's surprise. My husband tells everyone that he was worried that getting a toy dog meant no big walks or playing, but Fred is able to clear fallen trees and plays harder than the big dogs. He's so proud!

I saw the newest babies on the site, precious little girls! Believe it our not, they were born on my birthday?! . . . I never saw a dog that loves others as much as Fred.

Okay, this a really long email. ... Fred is laying across the back of my recliner with his legs around my head (he is cat like sometimes), if he only knew!"
